What Tree Services Toowoomba actually is

We put you in touch with an arborist. We don't touch trees.

Tree Services Toowoomba is a referral service. We have no trucks, no chipper and nobody on staff who climbs. What we have is a list of arborists working across the Toowoomba region and a reasonable idea of which of them suits which job.

Send an enquiry and it goes to one of them. They ring you, look at the tree, and quote it directly. Your agreement is with them, we're not a party to it, and we don't take a percentage of what you pay.

Why a site like this is worth having in Toowoomba specifically

Two reasons, and they're both local. The first is that tree work in Queensland requires no QBCC licence — tree work isn't classified as building work at all. That makes the bar to advertising as a tree lopper close to zero, and on a job where the failure mode is a limb through a roof, that gap matters.

The second is that the council position here is genuinely unusual and widely misreported. Toowoomba Regional Council's current planning scheme doesn't require approval to remove a tree on your own land where no development is proposed — different to Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan. Several tree-service sites covering this region tell you the opposite. We'd rather set out what council actually says, link to it, and give you their number.

What we won't do

We don't publish testimonials, reviews or before-and-after photos. We haven't done any of the work, so anything we showed you would be invented — which is precisely what a lot of sites in this space do.

We don't claim to hold arborist qualifications, licences or insurance. The operators we refer to do, and you should ask to see a certificate of currency before work starts. If someone won't show you one, that's your answer.

We don't quote your job. Nobody can price a tree properly without standing under it. The ranges published here are indicative, drawn from regional Queensland price guides, and exist so you know roughly what you're walking into.

The photographs on this site

The species photographs in our tree guide come from Wikimedia Commons and are credited to the photographer with their licence on every image. None of them are AI-generated — people use those photos to work out what's growing in their yard, and a plausible-looking invention is worse than no photograph at all.

Where we've used an illustrated image alongside a diagram, it's labelled as an artist's interpretation, because that's what it is.

Who we refer to

Operators working across the Toowoomba region who hold current arboriculture qualifications and carry public liability insurance. If an operator's cover lapses, or we get consistent complaints, they stop receiving enquiries.

We're not a directory and we don't sell your details. One enquiry goes to one arborist.
